From Dec. 2001 to Mar. 2007, work for Guangdong Development Company Ltd. which is a foreign subsidiary of Guangdong Xinguang International Group Co. Ltd. on Saipan islands, USA. Guangdong Development Company is the biggest “One Stop” building materials and hardware store on Saipan. The company sells the complete systemic building and decoration materials, such as rebar, cement, lumber, plywood, plyform, plumbing, lighting, electrical fittings, ceramic tile, sanitary ware, paint, roof tin, gypsum board, chain link fence, wood moulding, relevant chemical and hardware, etc. It bases on the local market and purchases merchandise all over the world. The suppliers are from America, Australia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, and Singapore, Chinese Mainland and Taiwan Island, etc. During that period I am in charge of the overall operation of the Purchasing Dep. I am also assigned as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator under the Sales Dep., and meantime performing management assigned task for effective cost management. I am diligent and have a high sense of responsibility to my assigned task. As a Purchasing Manager, I have developed a systematic flow of purchasing procedures, ensured the timely and adequate supply of materials, improved the purchasing cycle and established suppliers that are advantageous for the stable supply of materials to the company. I am responsible to establish and study marketing strategy in order to maximize sales and profit. My job performance covers advertising and marketing analysis by keeping the company the “No.1” supplier of construction materials in the local market. I help strengthened the competition ability of the company by performing analytical job through sales research and survey. Meanwhile, I also work with my colleagues together for some other management jobs such as advertising, warehouse management, customs clearance, accounting and human resource management, and so on. For the wonderful performance of our team, the annual turnover has increased over 50 percent more than before. Under the declining economic circumstance of Saipan recent years, we do our best to get more and more market share to keep and strengthen our high level sales achievement and leadership on Saipan.
